Today I Ate a Rainbow

Kia Robertson is a mom, children’s book author and the creator of the Today I Ate a Rainbow Kit a tool that helps parents establish healthy eating habits by setting the goal of eating a rainbow of  fruits and vegetables every day. The interactive game uses a rainbow as a nutritional guide that gets kids ASKING to eat their fruits and veggies.

Tune in as we explore why kids really do enjoy eating a variety of fruits & veggies and how we can encourage them in a fun way that lets the kids take the lead on their own good health.

Back to school time is here- What’s your plan?

Have you done your back to school shopping? Are you looking forward to, or dreading the transition back to your regular routines?

Renowned Canadian parenting author of the Mother of All series, Ann Douglas, joins me to talk about paring your to-do lists down to the bare essentials. Ann suggests we focus on having great conversations with our kids this weekend, so that we’re really connected before school starts. Ann will also share some great practical tips about easing into earlier bedtimes, getting organized in terms of meals and ways to roll into the back-to-school transition with more ease.

Tune in this Saturday, SEPTEMBER (Can you believe it?) 1st at 10am on CFAX 1070!
