Podcast: Great Cloth Diaper Challenge

by shirley on April 21, 2011

Stephanie Baird and Colleen Bezeau joined us on April 16 to explore Cloth Diapering and look at the truth and fiction behind the growing popularity of this good old fashioned way of dealing with,  let’s just say it, baby poop. Stephanie & Colleen will host one of  many Great Cloth Diaper Change events this month – part of a global grass roots movement aimed at promoting reusable, modern cloth diapers.

Stephanie Baird is the owner of Abby Sprouts. She always felt cloth diapers were the most environmentally friendly option, but it wasn’t until her daughter Abby got severe rashes from the chemicals and perfumes in disposables that she made the switch.

She couldn’t believe how easy it was right from the beginning and wants to share her knowledge and dispell the myths that still surround cloth diapering.

Colleen Bezeau is the Victoria mama behind Baby Bellhop, an online cloth diaper retailer that carries a wide selection of name-brand cloth diapers and accessories. She loves supporting parents as they become acquainted with all things cloth.

Loved this show. I am a cloth diaper lover for 4.5 years and 3 kids and was so glad to hear this on the radio!
