A key to connecting authentically with our children

How do we foster a strong connection with our children so that we can influence them without using power over them? How can we teach our children to be compassionate and help them gain skills of self-mastery for navigating life’s ups and downs?  Join me and my guest, parent educator Colleen Adrian, as she shares stories and research that show us why our ability to connect strongly with our feelings have a profound effect on our ability to connect more powerfully with our children and lead them in a meaningful way, and—why it’s so difficult to do that sometimes.
