Tune in or stream live to the Real Parenting radio show on CFAX 1070 this Saturday, July 13 from 12-1pm PT.

Navigating allergies

When your child is diagnosed with an allergy it can be frightening and very daunting. There is so much to understand, including learning about what resources that are out there for families.

Laura Bantock, Director of Anaphylaxis Canada’s western region, joins me to talk about those resources, as well as preventative health education and the Newly Diagnosed Support Centre website.

A story of surrogacy

Their husbands are first cousins. After a difficult birth with several complications, Janelle Pagnucco needed a life-saving hysterectomy, but was able to keep her ovaries. Kim Jenson, a mother of 2, is helping her husband’s cousin and his wife Janelle bring a sibling for their son and complete their family through surrogacy.

Don’t miss this fascinating chat with Janelle and Kim to hear their story!
