We have busy show planned for this Saturday, April 27 from 12-1pm PT on CFAX 1070 and hope you can tune in!
Susan Marcus, co-author of The Missing Alphabet: A Parents’ Guide to developing creative thinking in kids joins me to discuss how parents and educators can hone in on a child’s natural strengths, develop that child’s particular brand of imagination and utilize their untapped reserves of creative potential.
Lindsay McCray, spokesperson for Little Spirits Garden will be joining me to raise awareness of the fact that one in four pregnancies end in miscarriage, stillbirth or infant loss and that many women don’t want to keep silent about their experiences. She’ll share the stigma and myths women and families face and the outpouring of support from the community.
Election time in BC is just around the corner (May 14) and Taylor Gunn, president of CIVIX and the Chief Election Officer of Student Vote, a non-partisan charity focussing on civic education, will be on the show to talk about the parallel elections many schools in BC will be experiencing as they learn about BC politics and the candidates running. Kathryn Arkell, teacher at Belmont High School also joins me to discuss this interesting opportunity students can participate in, what the election process looks like and the reaction of students.
