Mom Panel! Teens, social media, pop culture & more

A group of moms will join me in the studio this week for the popular Real Parenting Mom Panel to discuss tweens & teens, the trials & tribulations of this stage and look at how social media, pop culture and mental health impact our parenting.

Meet the Moms!

Janni Aragon is the mom of two girls and an American ex-pat living in Victoria, BC. She works in the Department of Political Science at UVic as an educator and Undergraduate Advisor and is the Chair of the Academic Women’s Caucus. She is a feminist, writer, speaker, blogger and a co-founder of the Breathe Now Conference happening in Victoria, April 14 & 15.

Yukari Peerless is a single mother of two boys and the owner of consulting firm Lucid Communications, which provides ESL support, translation, and wedding planning for, but not limited to, Japanese clients. She is a writer, blogger and social media enthusiast. Yukari co-hosts the online show Getting Engaged- Online, In Life and At Work and is a co-founder of the upcoming Breathe Now conference.

Janice Mansfield is a personal chef with Real Food Made Easy specializing in creating customized meal plans for people coping with multiple food sensitivities and also teaches cooking classes online. She incorporates cocktails into the catering side of her business and has created a line of artisinal cocktail bitters.

Janice is mom to her 24 year old daughter and copes daily with the loss of her son Adam who passed away 4 years ago at the age of 11. Janice is also a co-founder of the Breathe Now conference along with Janni and Yukari.
